I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. At 14, my first article was published in the Jamaica Observer—an open call for peace that showed me, early on, that words carry power and responsibility. From that moment, writing became more than expression; it became purpose. I went on to study Public Relations and later earned a Master’s degree in Global Strategic Communications, building a foundation that blends creativity with strategy, storytelling with structure. I spent years writing across different platforms, learning how to speak to people honestly, thoughtfully, and with impact. Publishing Creatively was born out of both frustration and clarity. I watched too many people with powerful stories get ignored, delayed, or overwhelmed by a publishing process no one ever explained to them—or to me. Everyone talks about the destination, but very few explain the journey. I didn’t want the shortcut version of publishing. I wanted a way to help people understand the process, protect their work, and build something that lasts. This company exists because I believe stories deserve care, guidance, and respect.
